his is an out of production solar system model of which we've managed to get our hands on 4 so far, and as such we think it will be a very limited run. This particular model includes PLUTO!!!! before he was ex-communicated. All planets move at the same speed. This model runs on C batteries and can be used with an adapter (not included.) The base has been treated to look like Bakelite. Planets are easily aligned by using gauge on the top and bottom of the base. There is a clear planetarium cap included.

This is approximately 9" tall and extends about 18" out from the center.

We do not consider this a toy for anyone under the age of 12 as it has been carefully and painstakingly artist enhanced. But with guidance, it's a great way to learn about the solar system and it looks incredible in a room.
