Nautilus Celestial Orrery

Much like the solar systems we painstakingly produce, this is a students model we found online from another part of the world which we've vastly improved by a little ingenuity, metallic paint, art images from old masters and antique maps, antique gels, many coats of varnish and many many hours of work. These models are expensive and hard to find just in their natural state but we have established a steady source. As such, the "blanks" will be ordered and shipped to us as we receive orders online. We will need 4 weeks from the time you order until the time we ship.

These are fully functional. The sun lights up. The gears move the earth and moon around the sun. It is not electrified. These are plastic models which have been painted to look metal and wood. (Genuine wood and metal orrerys are available online but cost upwards of $1,000.) This is designed as a students model to illustrate the earths rotation around the sun and the moons rotation around the earth. It is 16.5 inches across and approximately 11.5" tall which means it is a showstopper. We do not consider this a toy for anyone under the age of 12.

This particular model has rhinestones and a number plate. (Plates will vary and numbers are random.) If you prefer no rhinestones, we can do that too.

Please know that these are not designed as lamps or nightlights.

Again PLEASE NOTE: These are custom made - THEY REQUIRE UP TO 4 WEEKS BEFORE WE SHIP. But they are lovely and there will only be a handful of these in existence. AS ART WORK, THESE ARE NON RETURNABLE.

We will happily ship anywhere else in the universe at your cost (within Ebay and USPS sanctioned countries) Item weighs approximately 4 lbs and carefully ships in a 12 x 12 x 12 box.
